Sunday May 4, 2025:

Pathway & River Cleanup

Yes, fellow members and guests, it’s getting closer to River Cleanup time again!

If you can volunteer for the cleanup,Please contact Mark Piché via , as we need a Parrot-Head-count for this event.

On Sunday May 4, we’ll gather at The Lodge at 1918 (1918 Kensington Rd NW) at 11 AM for our pre-cleanup information/safety session and filling in the sign-up sheet.

Then we’ll make our way over to our clean-up zone.  This year our official zone is along Parkdale Blvd, as it was last year, though we might cover other areas as well.

After we’re done at 1 PM, we’ll return to “The Lodge at 1918” for lunch and/or drinks. Note that there’ll be 18% gratuity automatically added to our tabs, as we’ll be a large group.

Those who can't participate in the cleanup can still join us at that
pub at 1 PM.

Volunteers – As in previous years, please dress appropriately for the event:

• Long pants (in case we need to go into the bushes)
• Sturdy shoes or hiking boots
• Hat
• Work gloves

Additional recommended equipment:

• Bottle/canteen of water
• Sunscreen
• Bug spray
• Smartphone
